1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vijilan Partner Academy (the “Academy”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Academy.\

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and partners who access or use the Academy services, including but not limited to certification programs, educational content, assessments, and support services.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

Partner Status Requirement

Access to the Academy is restricted to organizations that maintain an active partnership agreement with Vijilan. You must:

Be an authorized representative of a Vijilan partner organization
Maintain active partner status throughout your use of the Academy
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Keep your account information current and accurate

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

Use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication when available
Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
Not share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
Log out of your account when finished using the Academy

3. Academy Services

Educational Content

The Academy provides role-based certification programs, training materials, assessments, and related educational content. Services include:

Foundation and advanced certification programs
Interactive learning modules and assessments
Live webinars and Q&A sessions
Downloadable resources and materials
Digital badges and certificates
Technical support and learning assistance

Service Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee that the Academy will be available at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Academy with or without notice.

Important Notice

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Academy in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited activities include:

Sharing account access with unauthorized individuals
Attempting to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code
Using automated tools to access or scrape Academy content
Sharing, distributing, or republishing proprietary content
Interfering with the proper functioning of the Academy
Engaging in any activity that could damage Vijilan’s reputation

5. Intellectual Property

Vijilan Content

All content provided through the Academy, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and course materials, is the property of Vijilan or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

Access and use Academy content for your professional development
Download materials for offline study purposes
Share digital badges and certificates as proof of certification

This license does not permit you to:

Redistribute, sell, or commercialize Academy content
Create derivative works based on Academy materials
Remove copyright or proprietary notices
Use content for training competitors or unauthorized third parties

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Academy, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Account Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your Academy account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, you will lose access to all Academy services and any progress or certifications in development.

Termination by Vijilan

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Academy if:

Your organization’s partner status is terminated or suspended
You violate these Terms of Service
We reasonably believe termination is necessary to protect our interests
You fail to maintain accurate account information

Effects of Termination

Upon termination of your access:

Your right to use Academy services immediately ceases
Previously earned certifications and badges remain valid
Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination
Access to ongoing courses and materials is revoked

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

THE ACADEMY IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. VIJILAN MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIJILAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE ACADEMY.

Professional Development

Academy certifications are designed for professional development and do not guarantee employment outcomes, salary increases, or business success. Individual results may vary based on various factors beyond Vijilan’s control.
